Product Description

The IC693MDL330 provides eight triac outputs arranged as two isolated groups of four, each with its own common (not internally bussed). It drives 85–264VAC, 50/60 Hz loads up to 2 A per point (group limit 4 A at 40 °C), with support for high inrush (20 A for one cycle)—useful for inductive and incandescent loads. Typical minimum load is 100 mA; output characteristics include ≤1.5 V drop, ≤3 mA leakage at 120VAC (≤6 mA at 240VAC), and on/off response of ~1 ms / ½ cycle. Module logic draws about 160 mA @ +5 V from the backplane; size the rack power supply accordingly. Each group is fuse-protected (5 A)

How are the 8 output points grouped? Can I use different phases?

The module has two isolated groups of four outputs, each with its own common. You can feed different phases or the same source to each group. Each group is protected by a 5 A fuse.

What are the voltage and current ratings per point and per group?

85–264 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Up to 2 A per point and 4 A per group at 40 °C (de-rate as ambient rises).

Is there a minimum load or off-state leakage I should consider?

Yes. Minimum recommended load is ≈100 mA. Off-state leakage is typically ≈3 mA @ 120 VAC (≈6 mA @ 240 VAC). For very light loads, add a bleed resistor or interpose a relay.
