The IC693CPU311 is a compact 5-slot base with an embedded CPU for GE Fanuc Series 90-30 systems. It’s designed for small machine control and simple sequencing where high uptime and long lifecycle support matter. The CPU is built on an Intel 80188 at 10 MHz with 6 KB user program memory and 1 KB register memory. It supports around 160 discrete I/O points locally and can be expanded with analog and specialty modules as needed. Programming is typically done in Proficy Machine Edition (Logic Developer – PLC); legacy projects from Logicmaster 90 can be migrated. Serial communications are provided through the 15-pin SNP/RS-485 port on the power-supply; additional ports or Ethernet can be added via communication modules on the rack. Power draw from the backplane is ~410 mA @ +5 VDC; select a compatible IC693PWR3xx power supply accordingly. Operating temperature is 0–60 °C.
