The IC693CHS397 is the 5-slot modular CPU baseplate in the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 family, ideal when cabinet space is tight or local I/O counts are modest. Install the power supply in the leftmost position, the CPU (or specialty option) in Slot 1, and use Slots 2–5 for I/O/option modules. A 25-pin expansion connector on the right supports additional expansion/remote racks. By default, a modular CPU baseplate is assigned Rack Number 0.
