Product Description

The IC693CHS397 is the 5-slot modular CPU baseplate in the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 family, ideal when cabinet space is tight or local I/O counts are modest. Install the power supply in the leftmost position, the CPU (or specialty option) in Slot 1, and use Slots 2–5 for I/O/option modules. A 25-pin expansion connector on the right supports additional expansion/remote racks. By default, a modular CPU baseplate is assigned Rack Number 0. Internal backplane consumption is ~270 mA @ +5 V, with overall dimensions ≈ 10.43 × 5.12 × 5.59 in. Follow the manual’s rule to populate unused slots with filler modules.
Typical uses: compact main racks, machine-level controls, like-for-like service replacements, and phased migrations that must preserve existing wiring.
