Product Description

The IC693CMM321 connects Series 90-30 PLCs to Ethernet LANs for programming, HMI/SCADA, and controller-to-controller messaging. It provides client/server capability using SRTP over TCP/IP and—on supported hardware/firmware—Modbus/TCP (master & slave). Hardware revisions evolved from AAUI (external transceiver required) to integrated 10Base-T RJ-45 with full duplex; later revisions (e.g., -KL/-KM/-KN) also address security and reliability updates. Initial IP configuration is done via Station Manager on the RS-232 (RJ-11) port or through the PLC programmer, after which the module can be reached over Ethernet. Backplane load is ~700 mA @ +5 V, and PWR321 (Rev K+), PWR322, or PWR330 are the recommended power supplies. For best compatibility, use CPU firmware 6.50+ and locate the module in the main rack.
Typical uses: Ethernet programming access, HMI/SCADA comms, controller data exchange (SRTP), and integration with third-party systems via Modbus/TCP
